‣ ORDINANCE 164: BE 18+ TO PLAY. While proof is not required, do not skirt around this rule.
‣ ORDINANCE 521: BE RESPECTFUL. Treat other players and the mods with respect. We will not tolerate harassment of any players, which will result in either a strike or a ban. The City runs on a three-strike policy.
‣ ORDINANCE 858: COMMUNICATE. Role-play is a collaborative hobby. As such, players are encouraged to discuss any issues that may arise between themselves first.
If mod intervention is required, the mod team are not omnipotent. We cannot resolve issues we are not aware of. The mod contact page can be found here.
‣ ORDINANCE 878: DO NOT GOD-MOD OR INFO-MOD. Residents are nerfed within The City to create an even starting environment for all players. As such, players should be aware of such limitations and info-modding (giving your character OOC knowledge they would have no way of knowing) or god-modding (taking control of another player's character).
‣ ORDINANCE 912: DO NOT BLUR IC/OOC LINES. IC does not equal OOC. IC actions will have IC consequences within The City. OOC feelings should not affect IC actions.
‣ ORDINANCE 914: BE ACTIVE. Be active and engaged with the community. Activity is due at 11:59PM PST on the 4th of each month.There will be no warning list and no reminders. Those who do not post activity by this time will be swept from the game. Similarly, those who do not meet minimum requirements will receive a strike. ‣ ORDINANCE 987: LABEL MATURE CONTENT. The game contains mature themes such as horror, graphic violence, and adult content. Mark content with appropriate content warnings.
